Comrie Medical Centre SMS Text Messages has now been updated to offer the following services to everyone over the age of 16

  •        Sharing test results
  •        Chronic disease clinic review invitations
  •        Health promotion
  •        Appointment reminders

The appointment SMS text service should not be solely relied upon. The responsibility of attending and cancelling appointments remains with the individual.

SMS Text messages are generated by a NHS secure service - The practice will never transmit any information that would enable an individual patient to be identified, or specifically which tests they have had.

If you would like to opt into this service please click on the link Text Message Reminders under the Further Information heading where you will find the Consent Form.   Consent forms are also available at Comrie Medical Centre and Davidson's Pharmacy, Comrie.

diaryAppointments

All our clinics are appointment based.

You may make an appointment by telephoning the Medical Centre or by calling into reception.

Remember to make a separate appointment for each person to be seen.

If you cannot keep an appointment for any reason please let us know so that we may give it to someone else. Please remember that a missed appointment wastes the doctors’ or nurses’ time, adds to the time another patient has to wait for an appointment and costs money.

Appointments are 10 minutes each, if you feel you need longer please ask for a double appointment.

You may see any Doctor you choose but it is better to see the same Doctor through one episode of illness.

In An Emergency

Medical emergencies will be seen the same day with the minimum of delay.

If you find it difficult to get to the Medical Centre

Please contact the Receptionists as local volunteers may be able to help you. There is no charge for this service, but a donation to charity via one of the boxes at Reception is greatly appreciated.
